Painting in watercolor to me, is a way to use both my mind and my eyes. I really think of a painting as a puzzle with each part having a place where it should go. When I fit the puzzle parts into their places the entire piece comes together as one. Sometimes I lose a part of the puzzle and then, so much for that!
I started working in Batik in the 1970’s while living in Thailand, so watercolor was no mystery after that!
I love color and movement and that is basically what I try to achieve in my paintings. Deep meaning in art I leave for others!
